In Brussels, our drone pilot recently flew over Maison d'Enfants Reine Marie-Henriette, a care facility with a rich history. The footage shows that the roof of the new building is nearly complete. Thanks to the drone footage, we get an impressive overview of the scale and quality of the renovation, right in the heart of a densely built-up urban area.
Maison d'Enfants Reine Marie-Henriette, founded in 1863, provides care and residential support to vulnerable children. The facility creates a safe environment where multidisciplinary teams help children develop, strengthen family bonds, and rebuild stability and self-confidence.
The current renovation, made possible thanks to the support of AG Real Estate, includes a new residential building for 48 children, designed to improve facilities and create spaces that promote well-being and growth.
Flying drones in an urban environment such as this requires precision and expertise. Our pilots use GPS navigation, obstacle avoidance, detailed flight planning, and years of experience to ensure safe and high-quality images.
This approach allows us to not only visualize the renovation from a unique perspective, but also to support the entire project documentation process. The images show both the structure of the new building and the surrounding infrastructure and urban context.
The drone videos of the project are more than just visually appealing: they offer strategic added value for various applications:
Upon completion of the project, the drone footage was combined with the time-lapse video from the construction site camera. The result was a dynamic video that highlights both the progression of the construction process and the details of the building and its surroundings.
At C‑SITE, we believe in utilizing every angle to tell a project's story. With our combination of time-lapse, drone, and professional editing, we bring construction projects to life — from the first excavation to completion.
