Bicycle bridge at lightning speed

Thanks to Willemen Infra, cyclists in Evergem can stretch their cycling legs in complete safety. In the space of 1 year, Willemen Infra built 2 new bicycle bridges and 3 bicycle tunnels over and under the R4-West in order to safely guide cyclists over the ring road and the adjacent railroad track. In this timelapse video you can see how a bicycle tunnel near the Oval of Wippelgem is moved meter by meter until it arrives at its final position In order to limit the inconvenience to car traffic, this was done in 1 weekend!
