A prime example is the project in Evergem, where Willemen Infra, commissioned by De Werkvennootschap, built two bicycle bridges and three bicycle tunnels along the R4-West.

This new infrastructure ensures that cyclists can travel safely over and under the ring road and the railroad tracks.

This project was documented from start to finish using C-SITE timelapse. A particularly memorable moment was the installation of the bicycle tunnel at the Ovaal in Wippelgem. It was slid into place over the course of a single weekend to minimize traffic disruption—an impressive feat of engineering that is perfectly captured in timelapse.
