C-SITE documented the construction of the Wijnegem Ertbrugge residential project in Flanders for project developer Matexi through a photo report taken on-site.
This project, located in Wijnegem (province of Antwerp), which we are also monitoring with a fixed time-lapse camera, is part of a new residential development that prioritizes green spaces, quality of life, and sustainable technologies. During the finishing phase, we captured the construction site at the moment when the project truly comes to life: the architecture takes shape, materials become visible, and the first contours of the new residential neighborhood become tangible.
While time-lapse and drone footage primarily showcase the progress and the big picture, construction site photography focuses on detail, atmosphere, and craftsmanship.
This report focused on:
This creates a visual narrative that not only documents what is being built, but also how and to what standard the project is being carried out.
Wijnegem Ertbrugge was developed as a forward-thinking residential neighborhood where residents can enjoy a combination of green spaces, tranquility, and contemporary architecture.
The photo essay shows how this vision is put into practice: from meticulously designed facade details to the incorporation of warm accents in the interiors. The result is a project that is not only functional but also focuses on the living experience and quality of life.
The images from this construction site photography are used for various purposes in the communications of Matexi and its partners:
In an industry where trust and transparency are crucial, compelling visuals help to closely engage stakeholders and future residents in the project.
At C-SITE, this photo series is part of a broader visual approach that also includes time-lapse and drone footage. This ensures that every project is fully documented: from the big picture to the finer details, from the initial work to completion.
In addition, all images are collected and managed via the C-SITE platform, ensuring that project teams always have quick access to professional and usable communication materials.

With years of experience in construction communications, C-SITE helps developers, contractors, and real estate professionals tell the story of their projects more effectively—not just technically, but also visually and emotionally.
The photo essay on Wijnegem Ertbrugge shows how a residential project evolves, step by step, into a new living environment where quality, sustainability, and architecture come together.
