The construction of the new Ciner Glass plant in Limburg's Kristalpark is one of the largest industrial projects in Belgium today. C-SITE supports the process with three high-quality timelapse cameras that visually map the evolution of the site - a combination of overview, detail and continuity.
From its headquarters in London, Ciner Glass monitors the progress of the works daily via C-SITE's livestreams. At the site itself, the images are also used to closely monitor the schedule and visually document various construction phases.
Two cameras were positioned to form a wide panoramic view, essential to fully capture the scale of the project. A third camera was placed on a neighboring wind turbine and provides an overview view from above. This creates a complete visual archive that captures the entire construction process.
The images not only serve for follow-up, but are also actively used in Ciner Glass's communications. The automatically generated timelapse videos are shared as visual eye-catchers for Ciner Glass' LinkedIn posts.
This proves valuable not only for marketing purposes, but also for employer branding: the site will eventually employ hundreds of people, and the images give prospective employees a clear picture of the project, its scale and ambitions.
"The construction of our site in Lommel is progressing well and we are pleased with the footage C-SITE is providing. These timelapse videos and livestream provide a great overview and digital archive so that our headquarters in London can follow the progress live. Thank you for your continued support."
- Cem Coskun, Administrative Affairs Manager at Ciner Glass
