For BEE - your local energy, our camera captured beautiful overview images of the impressive new biomass power plant in the Ghent Canal Zone. This plant, a paragon of modern eco-friendly design, meets the strictest environmental regulations and has an amazing capacity of 20 megawatts of electricity. This amounts to the power consumption of as many as 40,000 households! We are proud that we were able to collaborate on a project that provides green energy and heat. BEE - your local energy is committed to developing, financing, building and managing the facilities where that energy is made. The goal is a bright, sustainable future for both economy and planet.
The timelapse videos and HD photos gave a comprehensive overview of this innovative project and were used for project follow-up and promoting the investment. Because an image like this is of course also perfectly suited for external communication and marketing.
What makes this project extra special is the way it was visualized:
two C-SITE site cameras were set up side by side, with the images seamlessly stitched together horizontally afterwards to form one wide panoramic image. In this way, the entire scope of the site and the various phases of the project were clearly recorded.
This technique is frequently used on large or expansive sites like BEE. For vertical infrastructure, such as towers or high-rise buildings, we use a similar approach but in vertical arrangement.
At sites where chemical and flammable products are handled, we naturally pay close attention to safety. This is why C-SITE cameras are equipped with an ATEX housing: a pressure-resistant housing that ensures that the camera is safe from possible explosion hazards. The material complies with the ATEX (Atmosphères Explosives) directive and is suitable for use in explosion-prone environments. Possible causes of explosions include sparks, high temperatures, radiation, static electricity,...
Are you considering an energy project where oversight, safety and communication are key? C-SITE offers camera setups with stitching, ATEX cameras and customized short- and long-term solutions.
